Since my childhood I loved any kind of crafts. And I always loved to gift my friends the craft I made. Because I feel the gift which you make by yourself is more special than the one you purchased from shop. I couldn't go to any classes during childhood but I used to learn with the things which were easily available at home. Like preparing greeting cards with the old wedding invitation cards, paper cutting, beads, sparkles etc. Making wall hanging with the satin ribbon. Preparing flowers with satin ribbon and tissue paper. What not I have used, to be creative in my craft.
During inter college I joined glass painting and pot painting classes. Later after completing my degree immediately I joined painting classes. It was my bad luck that by the time I wanted to learn oil painting my tutor had transfer to different location :( so I couldn't complete my course. After that I have enrolled for soft toys making course which was affiliated to government. But then it was my bad luck again that immediately I got job in Wipro and I couldn't give time to that course so I left it. But sure I'll learn it in near future.
I got married and I didn't find time to excel different crafts for a while. But after coming to Finland I got free time during weekends to learn new things. I always loved cooking too and experiment all new dishes. Because all of my friends inspiration and my husband support I started this cooking blog. Since last year I started learning crochet through internet. During childhood I only learnt to prepare rubber bands and friendship bands from my Mom :). But now I started making caps, booties, head bands and lots more to learn.
